Three Haiku Poems - Wildfires

so much energy

flames approach with a strong force

resisting nothing

fire burning brightly

quick flash as the flames leapt high

speeding fast as sound

trees add oxygen

making the flames leap higher

without fuel it’s out

Haiku – is a unrhymed Japanese verse consisting of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables (5, 7, 5) or 17 syllables in all. 

It is created by a vision, it paints a mental image in the reader’s mind.

Senryu - consists of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables (5, 7, 5) or 17 syllables in all.is usually written in the present tense and only references to some aspect of human nature or emotions. They possess no references to the natural world and thus stand out from nature/seasonal haiku

Beauty is Everywhere

Beauty is Everywhere

Real beauty is found everywhere.

Flowers are blooming every day

No one sheds a tear the day a flower disappears

Here today, gone tomorrow.

Insects visit the flowers

Leave with their taste buds filled with nectar

Just to return another day

When the next bud blooms again.

Humans cut the flower to add to a vase

No one sheds a tear

When the beauty of the bloom disappears

Here today, gone tomorrow.

If a human with real beauty

Didn’t bloom at all

Would you shed a tear

For sure you would.

Real beauty is found everywhere

Let’s make a point to showing how we care

When that poor flower no longer blooms

Give it a blessing for making your day blossom with beauty.

Fairy Mushroom Memories

Memories are for a lifetime

Time to share some childhood dreams

Pretty red mushrooms

Grew in our garden

Fairies were always in my dreams

Those pretty red mushrooms

that grew in our garden

Were always sheltering fairies in my dreams

I swear my dreams were always about fairies

Even in my darkest days of childhood illnesses

My memories of fairies floating around the room

Living under those red mushrooms

Now in my later years

Those fairies still don’t leave my dreams

Just let those little imps take me to heaven

My spirit will then be forever free

My dreams will continue to be forever

About red mushrooms and fairies, that make me happy

Just sharing my childhood dreams that are sappy

Keepsakes that are inspiring me in my later years.

The first few words of this quote “Passion, it lies in all of us.”  but not only with humans, its also in the animal kingdom. That is why I added the photo above, the mother lion action tells it all.

I can’t really say much more as the quote covers “Passion” extremely well.
